Our Story.

We strive to create food that is connected to the community.

Connected to the grower, the region, the roaster, the people.

We want to make sure everyone feels part of our de Rose family, as though you are coming over for a cuppa and some brunch.

Husband and wife team Dan and Mandy de Rose have both grown up around strong communities and food.

Dan, a Willunga local completed a horticulture apprenticeship before going into steel fabrication. He worked with McCarthy’s Orchard at the Willunga Farmer’s Market and Adelaide Showground Farmer’s Market for over 10 years. You can see his steel work throughout the café.

Mandy grew up on a fruit growing property in Renmark which gave her respect for the growers, the land and seasonal produce which can be seen featured throughout the de Rose Kitchen seasonal menus. Mandy has 15 years of hospitality experience, and started our sister company The Dandy Tea CO. in 2013.

Our philosophy is simple, honest food, coffee and service with an aim to always make you feel welcome and part of our family.
